Do Your Due DiligenceOur September event promises to be one of the most content-filled we’ve ever done with the theme of Do Your Due Diligence. Here’s why you need to set Wednesday 13th September in quick drying cement:
Our keynote speaker is Charlie Morris. Charlie is Chief Investment Officer at Newscape having joined in May 2016 to restructure and oversee the direct Funds business. He is the Lead Manager of the Newscape Diversified Growth Fund, the Co-Manager to the Newscape Emerging Markets Equity Fund and is a senior member of the investment committee. Prior to Newscape, Charlie spent 17 years at HSBC Global Asset Management as the Head of Absolute Return managing a multi-asset fund range with assets in excess of $3 billion. He is a familiar face in the financial media and writes frequently as the editor of Atlas Pulse and the Fleet Street Letter, Britain’s oldest financial newsletter. Prior to fund management, Charlie was an officer in the Grenadier Guards, British Army.
To be blunt, what Charlie Morris doesn’t know about the financial markets just isn’t worth knowing. He knows how to succeed in the financial world. And he’s going to share that insight with Elite Investor Club members on 13th September.
In short, he’s not an ‘armchair pundit’… he’s a battle hardened investor with real experience making money in the financial markets. For our keynote speech I’ve asked him to share how he approaches due diligence in relation to his own investments and those that end up in his fund or in front of Fleet Street letter readers.
Before that I’ll share my own approach to Due Diligence for the kind of investments that end up in the Elite Investor Club portfolio. It’s one of the most requested topics so hopefully by getting two takes on it in one evening you’ll leave with some strategies that you can implement straight away.
You’ll also get a chance to meet our new Chief Investment Consultant, Sezer Sherif. Quick word or warning – as you can see from the photo on the right he’s a former welterweight boxing champion who trains with Shane McGuigan so don’t upset him!
